I went to kickboxing class today and I must say it was fabulous! I had such a great time! The music was great and the class was full. I saw a few girls that I haven't seen in a while...... and they probably think..."omg....she has gained weight! It is a good thing she came back!"
Yeah, I am 6 months pregnant, but I look.....Fat. Yes, my stomach is bigger and rounder....but it is still flabby and soft. I look like a fatty. People would never know I was pregnant unless I told them I was.
I am really proud of myself for actually taking the initiative to go to kickboxing class. I modified the jumping jacks, power squats, and shuffles to low impact and still had a great workout. I felt pretty good during the whole hour......but now I am feeling sciatica in my left buttocks area....lol..but it reminds me that I am strong...and healthy enough to exercise...and that makes me feel better about myself. I am so used to being on a "diet" in the beginning of the year that I actually miss....being on a diet.....but pregnancy will not stop me from choosing healthy options and exercising......and it sure won't stop me from eating as much chocolate as I want either.....unless I fail my glucose test.....which is in a few days. Update on baby to come......

Maddie's 15 mo. update
My baby is 15 months old already! She had her 15 month check up the other day and she is perfect! She weighed in at 23 pounds 4 oz. and is 30 1/2 in. long. She is getting so big! Her favorite thing to do right now is CLIMB! She loves to climb on everything. As seen below, she is climbing on the table.
She also climbed on this chair....
She is learning so much and I have to say she has been the best baby ever!!! She really is so easy to take care of. She sleeps all night and she takes a good 2-3 hour nap every day. She eats well and loves her milk in her sippy cup. She loves to be read to. She may be the reader in my group of kids, the other two are not readers. She loves to terrorize...I mean play with her brother and sister. She loves to join you in the bathroom and unroll as much toilet paper as she can while you are in there. When I load the dishwasher she is always right there with me pulling out the forks and spoons I just put in . She is also right there with me when I put the wet clothes from the washer into the dryer. She loves to help put those clothes in. She absolutely loves to play peek a boo. It is her favorite game. She hates getting her nose wiped or cleaned, she always always always has a runny/booger nose. She hates socks. I have no idea where her socks go. She takes them off the first chance she gets and she must hide them because all of her socks are mismatched! and lost! She hates it when I am on the computer. It seems like that is the only time she starts to whimper and wants my full attention. Her favorite food seems to be animal crackers.....she could eat those all day long. She loves to say "da da" and everything you or she points to is a "da da". She can also say "wheeeeee" and "uh oh". She loves to wave goodbye.
Soon, my Maddie will not be the baby anymore and that makes me sad. I feel like her babyhood has been taken away since I will be having another baby in less than 4 months. I hope she takes it well. I remember Jacob not taking it too well when Allie came along....
Happy belated 15 months baby Maddie!

Pregnant and exercising! Me! Yeah me!

I exercised today!!!! and it felt great!!!! I took the kids to the YMCA to get some exercise too. We all need to get out of the house and stop playing our Wii and DSi's. I decided the other day that this is the best I have felt during any pregnancy! It really is wonderful to feel so good right now. First the kids and I walked the track. They got pretty bored with that really fast and soon all I was doing was yelling at them! So I took them to the nursery. I peeked into the aerobics studio and saw my most favorite instructor teaching....and I thought....hmmm should I try? I am pregnant.....will it be too intense? .....and then I saw like 2 other preggy women in there....so I joined right in! It felt great! I haven't been to kboxing class in months......MONTHS! Now, I was very late to class....because I wasn't planning on doing that class.....so it was only 10 minutes long. It was a great 10 minutes though. Then I got on the good ole treadmill for 30 minutes (just walked) . I held on to both of the side bars so I wouldn't trip or fall. All in all it was a pretty good workout for me. I realized that I can and need to do this more than once in a while. I saw all kinds of pregnant people exercising....and so can I!!! I am planning on exercising on my days off during the week. Hopefully this will hinder some of my weight gain and hopefully keep diabetes away. I do not want to fail my glucose test!
Oh, and I had my ultrasound yesterday too! The tech said everything looked great! I was very relieved and actually felt a weight lift off of my shoulders. She gave me a free DVD of the whole thing which was nice. AND! I stayed strong and did not peek at the parts between the legs! So, I will be surprised when he or she arrives in May!

Week 23
I can FINALLY feel my baby move! YAY! I was worried there for a while. I had a Dr. appointment today and it went well. I didn't gain any weight! WOOO HOOO! I guess the 8 pounds last month decided to spread on until this month. Thank goodness. I am going to be a total fatty by the time this pregnancy is over. I am so BIG. I feel sooo BIG! and it isn't even "big baby belly" big. It is a different kind of big. I have gained 17 pounds or so.....so I am definitely happy to see the same weight this month. I also had a dental appointment today which went pretty well....except for the fact that the hygienist about fell asleep on me! I am dead serious. She was cleaning and then all of a sudden she was 1. breathing heavily 2. starting to slump over 3. eyes starting to shut.......and 4. not moving her sharp little instruments around! I felt totally awkward. I started to look at her because I felt like something was a little off.....and she goes...."oh....I think I felt a little stickiness in that spot......" Ummmmm okay lady! then she flosses the top teeth and forgets to do the bottom teeth. I was just happy to get out of there. I usually don't enjoy the dentist as I had a bad experience with a hygienist once. She practically scraped my gums out of my mouth. It was very painful and I really didn't know any better. I was really young. I guess at least this one was pretty gentle! Too gentle she fell asleep!

Winter Wonderland Fun!
It snowed for two days straight last week and the kids were out of school for two days! We actually had a great time together. I was off those two days which made the snow very enjoyable. I love looking at the snow from inside a warm house! I didn't have to drive in it at all!

Is that gas or what?
I am past 20 weeks pregnant and I still really don't feel my baby move! What the heck? I felt my other ones move at around 18 weeks. My placenta is anterior so that may be part of the reason....or that I have a ton of fluff ........I don't know! But, I am seriously annoyed! Once in a while I will feel a little flutter....and I think....." oh i think that was the baby....and then a few seconds later I can actually hear my belly rumble....." oh....Gas again...: ( " I feel like I really should feel my baby move by now......I should be able to tell if that flutter is my baby or if it is really truly gas. This is driving me mad! I mean....this is my 4th baby. I should be a pro at knowing what is what! I am hoping that in the next couple of weeks I will def feel some baby movements. Come on baby! Kick me hard!!!! Please!!!!!
