Kindergarten

There's just something about the first day of kindergarten that pulls at your heart......letting your baby go on that bus without you for the first time......it's like you are letting go of that baby........forever!!!! I know, I know....I am being a LITTLE dramatic! I am so proud of my little kindergartner. She was so happy to get on that bus all by herself. She was so excited today. I was excited for her too. On the walk back home from the bus stop is when it hit me. My Allie is growing up....and there is nothing I can do to stop it.

rubbery legs

My legs feel like rubber...I just took my first ever Pilate's ball class. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be, but it surely worked my body out! I was sweating during the class, however I didn't feel too out of breath AND there is no jumping involved and you know what that means! No peeing in the pants.....and I totally liked that part! I will definitely add this class to my routine once in a while.

Today is my official weigh in day and I was up a few pounds from my last weigh in, probably because I've been stuffing my face because I knew this day was fast approaching. I have decided to wipe my slate clean. Today is my new starting weight. I still don't have enough "balls" to post my actual weight on the internet for all to see, so I apologize about that. Getting back on track has been really hard for me lately, so I will journal my intake here for all to see to help keep me on track ( just for the first week).

I am allowed to have 28 points/day with 35 extra points per week. I am not going to use my exercise points for now....that may change later... I also didn't add my extra breastfeeding points in because Maddie is not exclusively nursing anymore and I am probably not burning 10 points a day by making breast milk like I did before....she only nurses around 3 times a day and not for very long......she is too busy!

Here's to a new beginning!

First day of school

Jacob's first day of second grade had arrived! YAY!!!!!

Having a protein packed breakfast of cheesy eggs and milk

This is Jacob and Jacob.....Jacob lives two doors down and they are in the same class this year

I think we may have the largest bus stop, there were 19 kids boarding the bus the morning, here are a few of them

The big yellow bus!

So, now that school has officially started, I was supposed to get back on track with weight watchers and back on my exercise schedule. After I got Jacob on the bus, Allie, Maddie and I hopped on over to the YMCA where I went to K BOX class for the first time in WEEKS! It felt really good to be back on schedule with that. Allie officially starts school on Friday with a phase in day on Thursday. I am totally excited for her.......she will be my little kindergartner this year......how fast time flies! I will definitely post more pics for her first day!
I will start journaling again tomorrow and make my weigh in day tomorrow also....hopefully the scale won't be tooo hard on me.

Maddie's "nine month" visit

Everything went well at the doctor today. Maddie weighs 19 and a half pounds (50th percentile) and is 28 1/4 in. long (55th percentile) so she is right on track. Not too big not too small.....I am a little jealous! : ) I wish I was not too big....not too small......

Maddie also got the flu shot today which I guess is a good thing...I don't get the flu shot because I don't think it works for me......and I don't want to risk feeling ill from it.........so why did I let my baby get the shot??? I am gonna have to think that one over again!

The doctor also wanted to draw a hemoglobin test to make sure she is not iron deficient......and she passed.......she is perfect!

After the check up guess where we went? YUP...we went to COLDSTONE CREAMERY! AAAAAKKKK! I know.........not good for the diet.....but it was sooo goood....and Allie, Maddie and I shared one.... so it could have been worse!

New cousins!

Yesterday we welcomed twin boys, Brayden Jacob and Dominick Alexander to the family! They were born on Aug. 19th at 2:47 and 2:50 by cesarean section. Here are a few pics! Aren't they just adorable!
